Delete Your Account & Data
This page explains how to request deletion of your account and the data associated with it in PINTA. Most of your content stays on your device or in your own iCloud and never reaches our servers, so in many cases there is no server-side account to delete. Where you created an account or shared content with our community/showcase features, you can request its deletion below.
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest)
If you are signed in, you can delete your account directly from within the PINTA app:
- Open Community.
- Go to your Profile.
- Tap Edit Profile.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
This permanently deletes your account and the associated data described below.
Option 2 — By email
If you cannot access the app, send us a deletion request from the email address you used to sign in. We may reply to verify your identity before processing it.

Or email us directly at support@pintative.com with the subject “Account & data deletion request” and the email / sign-in method (Apple or Google) you used.

You can also request deletion through our support form, available in your language:
What gets deleted
- Your account and the authentication identifier linked to Sign in with Apple or Google.
- Any content you uploaded to our community or showcase features.
- Profile or preference data stored on our servers, if any.
What we may retain
We may keep a limited amount of data when we are legally required to, or to resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and enforce our terms. This is kept only for as long as necessary and is then deleted or anonymized. Note that:
- App purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. We do not store your payment details and cannot delete records held by Apple — manage those in your Apple account.
- Content stored locally on your device or in your personal iCloud is under your control; delete the app or remove it from iCloud to erase it.
How long it takes
We process verified deletion requests within 30 days. We will confirm by email once your account and associated data have been deleted.
